The main aim of the Hans Hinterreiter Foundation is to support the artistic legacy of Hans Hinterreiter and to promote and disseminate his ideas in Switzerland and abroad.

The purpose of the foundation is fulfilled by:

Conducting exhibitions and information events in Switzerland and abroad on the work of Hans Hinterreiter;
The publication of books and catalogs on the work of Hans Hinterreiter;
The donation or lending of works by Hans Hinterreiter to museums in Germany and abroad;
​
The alignment of funding contributions to artists and scientists who continue to pursue the ideas of Hans Hinterreiter;
The alignment of funding contributions to exhibitions, seminars and lectures in Switzerland and abroad;
Collaboration with other organizations with similar objectives in Switzerland and abroad.
